Park Rules Old Brook Valley Estate
The park rules are an integral part of the rental agreement and apply to all guests and visitors to Landgoed Oud Beekdal. Compliance with these park rules is mandatory. In case of violation of these park rules, disturbance of peace or safety, or failure to follow instructions from employees, access to the park and/or accommodation may be denied with immediate effect, without the right to a refund of paid accommodation fees.
1. Nature of the stay and length of stay
- Oud Beekdal Estate is a vacation park and exclusively intended for recreational stay.
- Stay that is (partly) intended for (temporary) accommodation of staff, project-based work or stay as a base for work in the region is not allowed.
- The accommodation may not be used as a temporary housing solution.
- A stay may last a maximum of three (3) consecutive weeks.
- It is not permitted to circumvent this maximum length of stay by making multiple consecutive reservations (whether under different names or not) for the same party.
- If it appears that the stay is not recreational in nature or is in violation of the above provisions, the stay may be terminated early without entitlement to a refund.
2. Rest and behavior
- Between 22:00 and 07:00 hours night rest applies. Noise, partying or other disturbing behavior are not allowed. Every guest respects the peace, safety and privacy of other guests.
- Organizing meetings, events or commercial activities is permitted only with prior written permission from the park manager.
- Instructions from employees must be followed immediately.
3. Occupation and use of accommodation
- The maximum permitted number of persons per accommodation may not be exceeded.
- Subletting or giving the accommodation to third parties is not permitted.
- The accommodation may only be used in accordance with its purpose as a recreational residence.
4. Safety and fire prevention
- Smoking and the use of e-cigarettes (vaping) in the accommodations is not permitted.
- In case of violation of the smoking ban, additional cleaning and repair costs may be charged.
- The use of deep fat fryers and gourmet sets indoors is not permitted.
- Barbecuing is only allowed on gas if the regional nature code does not indicate code orange or red. Coal is strictly prohibited regardless of the nature code. Lighting open fires (such as campfires or wood fires) is not permitted.
- Electric vehicles may be charged only at designated charging stations.
- No modification or overloading of electrical equipment or facilities on the property is permitted.
5. Fireworks
- Oud Beekdal Estate is a fireworks-free park. Setting off fireworks on the park is not permitted. The setting off of fireworks may result in immediate removal from the park, without entitlement to a refund.
6. Traffic and parking
- In the park the rule is to drive at walking pace.
- Pedestrians always have the right of way.
- Children may not use the parking lot as a playground. Parents/guardians are responsible for supervision.
7. Drone Use
- The use of drones on or over the park is not permitted without prior written permission from the park manager.
8. Swimming pool and sunbathing lawn
- The communal heated outdoor swimming pool and sunbathing lawn are accessible to guests of the park.
- The heated outdoor pool at the Boerderij Hoeve is only accessible for guests of the Boerderij Hoeve.
- Use of the pool and sunbathing area is at your own risk.
- Swimwear is mandatory.
- There is no permanent supervision.
- Parents/guardians are responsible for the supervision of minor children at all times.
- Estate Oud Beekdal is not liable for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings at the pool or on the sunbathing area.
9. Play facilities
- Use of play facilities is at your own risk.
- Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising their children.
10. Pets
- Pets are allowed only if agreed upon in advance.
- Pets are not allowed on beds or furniture.
- Dogs must be kept on a leash in the park.
- Droppings must be cleaned up immediately.
11. Use of accommodation
- Damage or defects must be reported immediately.
- Moving furniture or inventory is not allowed.
- Placing tents or other camping equipment on the lot is not allowed, with the exception of small playgrounds for children.
- Nude recreation is not permitted.
12. Waste
- Waste must be offered separately in the containers provided.
- The park distinguishes between paper, glass, green waste and residual waste.
- Household waste must be placed in properly sealed bags.
13. Access and liability
- Guests are liable for any damage they cause to accommodation, inventory or park grounds.
- The park reserves the right to enter the accommodation in case of emergency situations such as fire or leakage.
- Park Berkenrhode is not liable for loss, theft or damage to guests' property, unless there is intent or gross negligence.
14. Final provision
- In cases where these park rules do not provide, the park manager decides, taking into account the applicable laws and regulations and reasonableness and fairness.
